APD: 20-year-old man killed in SW Albuquerque shooting

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Police have identified the man killed in a shooting in southwest Albuquerque Thursday night.


It happened on Fourth Street near Santa Fe just after 9 p.m. 

According to APD's Director of Communications Gilbert Gallegos, when officers arrived on scene they found 20-year-old Angel Dozal lying in the street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two people were detained and questioned and a third person was detained at a nearby residence.  Police say they located several bullet casings on scene as well as two handguns.

At this time it's unclear whether there are any suspects in this case.
