ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - A local author is highlighting the wonders of Albuquerque.

Ashley M. Biggers wrote the book “100 Things To Do In ABQ Before You Die - The 2nd Edition.” It’s a new look at what to do in and around the Duke City.

In the new book, Briggers added 17 new things that are not included in the original book, "100 Things To Do In ABQ Before You Die."

"A couple of my favorite examples are Red Planet Books and Comics, which is the only book and comic store in the U.S. that's exclusively devoted to native artists," she said.

Biggers says her book is for locals and tourists alike.

"I wanted to create a real mix of those top of mind attractions and off the beaten path and mix of sports and recreation, getting outside, great places to eat,” she said.

You can pick up a copy of the book at local bookstores. Biggers will be doing a book signing at Bookworks Saturday, June 30.
