ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to two separate Bosque fires, near Central and Sunset, in less than 24 hours.
Wednesday’s fire burned about 1.7 acres. Thursday’s fire burned about 2 acres.
AFR is still investigating a cause, But firefighters have not ruled that both fires were caused by one person.
AFR says both fires are now in what’s known as “patrol status.” That means firefighters have extinguished the fires, but crews are still monitoring for hotspots or flare-ups.
