APD: Homeless man suffers brutal beating downtown

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Albuquerque Police Department says a homeless man was beaten downtown around 3 a.m. Thursday.

Police say surveillance video from outside the Kimo Theater shows a person getting out of a silver sedan and beating the man, before driving off.

The man has life-threatening injuries, according to APD.

Police say they are reviewing more surveillance video in hopes of getting a better description of the suspect.
