Investigators say Jeremiah Valencia reached out to a family member on Facebook to describe the abuse he was allegedly enduring.

The documents say that woman contacted Jeremiah's mother, Tracy Peña, to ask her about the allegations. Investigators say Peña told the woman that Jeremiah was a liar.

The prime suspect in Jeremiah's death, Thomas Ferguson, killed himself in April.

Peña and Ferguson's adult son, Jordan Nuñez, still face charges.
