ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A Frontier Airlines flight bound for Denver diverted to the Sunport Sunday night due to a strange odor in the cabin, according to Sunport officials.

The passengers of the flight – which took off from Austin – deplaned after Albuquerque Police and Albuquerque Fire Rescue arrived on the tarmac. Officials say medical attention was also requested by flight attendants, though it isn't clear at this time for what.

The airline is expected to bring in another plane for the passengers to get to Denver.
