ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - More than 100 dinosaurs from the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods are at the Albuquerque Convention Center. The popular T-Rex, Velociraptors, Triceratops are just a few of the life-sized dinosaurs featured at the exhibit at the Jurassic Quest Evolution.

The tallest dinosaur is over 50-feet-tall and the tiniest is just under a foot and a half.

Johnel Acosta, the public relations manager, said the dinosaurs are the closest thing to the real deal.

“We have worked hand-in-hand with paleontologists, so a lot of our dinosaurs aren’t what you conventionally see in the popular movies,” he said. “Some of our dinosaurs have feathers, some of them are a lot larger and some of them are a lot smaller than shown in movies.”

He said their roars are also paleontologists approved.

“They start roaring like the dinosaurs would. They start moving and we really take pride in that because as soon as you walk in, each dinosaur moves and caters to you,” Acosta said.

The exhibit is open from Friday, August 17 to Sunday, August 19.
