ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Following three snowstorms, sleds are in high demand.

But you don’t have to spend a lot of money to enjoy the snow. There are several DIY options if you can’t find a sled.

The Trash Bag

It’s a simple, but effective way to glide down snowy hills.

If you’re looking for a more comfortable option, try wrapping a dog bed in a trash bag.

“That was awesome,” one kid said.

The Box

You can make good use of those Christmas boxes.

KOB’s Joy Wang broke a box down and flattened it out to see if it would work as a sled. It worked great.

The Plastic Bin

Not for all sizes, but the plastic bin was great for kids.

11-year-old Kyle tested it out and loved it.
