Eastern New Mexico to bear the brunt of wintry storm

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Like most of New Mexico, Fort Sumner received its fair share of snow these past few days. 

The final phase of the storm is expected to hit eastern New Mexico overnight.

Places like Tucumcari and Santa Rosa could receive up to eight more inches of snow through Wednesday evening. 

Drivers traveling along I-40 are reminded to take things slow if they have to travel.
