SB I-25 reopened after fatal crash near Black Mesa Casino

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A fatal crash shut down southbound I-25 Friday morning. The crash happened at mile marker 251, near Black Mesa Casino. 

Sandoval County Sheriff's Office Lt. John Castaneda said that one woman died in the crash. He said the driver of the vehicle and a child have been taken to the hospital.

Authorities say alcohol is not considered to be a factor at this time.
