Lanes reopened on I-40 following fatal crash near Carlisle

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- New Mexico State Police is investigating a fatal crash involving a pedestrian on I-40 near Carlisle. 

The crash occurred in the eastbound lanes, according to police

The left and middle lanes of I-40 were closed for several hours Friday night. However, they were reopened around 8:30 p.m.

Police have not released details about the crash.
