ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Ducklings found stuck in a storm drain in northwest Albuquerque today have been reunited with their mother and it's all thanks to the Albuquerque Fire Rescue crew from Station 18.
A concerned citizen saw the trapped ducklings and called AFR.
This isn't the first brood of ducklings to become trapped in Albuquerque in recent days.
You'll remember it was police officers who came to the rescue of ten ducklings a couple of weeks ago. That group had gotten stuck in a storm drain near Highway 528 and Ellison.
Earlier this morning @abqfire Station 18 crew were able to rescue these ducklings that had been stuck in a storm drain in NW Abq. Thank you to the concerned citizen that notified the crew and the “brood” were able to be safely reunited with their momma. @iafflocal244 pic.twitter.com/pxee43A58u— Albuquerque Fire (@abqfire) May 15, 2019
