First of Civic Plaza's many new features unveiled

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – It was an exciting day Downtown for dozens of kids testing the waters of the city's new and improved fountain at Civic Plaza.

The upgrades in front of the Convention Center have been more than a year in the making as Mayor Tim Keller unveiled the new fountain Saturday. And, he says, there's even more to look forward to.

"We believe that Civic Plaza should be a great place in our city and, really, a keystone in Downtown," he said. "That's why you see a lot of improvements that we're doing."
