ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - A local plumbing company is fixing a broken water line for a 93-year-old woman.

Molly Kelley found out about the leak after getting a $5,000 bill, which was eventually waived.

"I've never had these problems before and now everyone's willing to help me," said Kelley.

Bosque Heating and Cooling reached out to Kelley after seeing her story on KOB.

"I think it's a very New Mexican thing,” said Carlos Griego. “We're a strong community. We're a community-based company, and I think when you take care of your community, your community always takes care of you."

Griego co-owns the business with his cousin, Jorge Rojas. They just started their business a few months ago. And not only are they helping fix the leak outside Kelley’s house, they are also offering to help with the flood damage inside.

"Even if we do the work inside it'll be free of charge,” said Rojas. “If insurance doesn't end up covering it we'll make sure that she's taken care of."

Kelley says she can't thank everyone enough for helping get her life and home back to normal.

"I thank them a lot,” she said. “I don't know how to repay them. I think it's wonderful of them that I will have the water going and not be afraid it's going to backfire again."
