Italian restaurant feeding 'work family' that was furloughed

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- M'tucci's is making sure its work family is fed during the coronavirus outbreak.

"It's something that we that is most important to us in making sure that our working family is enjoying time with their family and making the best of this," said Austin Leard, one of the owners of M'tucci's.

Leard said the cooks have been making between 50-120 meals every day for the staff that was furloughed.

"It's everything form soups and salads, anything that's got some richness and heartiness to it," Leard said. "But we're also doing pastas and pizzas and the little things that we can do in our restaurants that our limited menus are allowing us to do."

Leard said M'Ttucci's will try self delivery soon, and allow hourly employees the chance to make commission off those sales.
