It's fair and festival season in New Mexico. Which one will you travel to?

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – When you think of fall in New Mexico, along with looking forward to the leaves beginning to turn colors, you also think of our state's many enchanting and unique fairs.

In the Land of Enchantment, festivals and fairs are a big motivator for travel. In 2017, on eight percent of overnight trips and five percent of day trips, people attended a special event. The national average was four percent.

There's something for just about everyone, from the Enchanted Skies Star Party in Magdalena to the Chile and Cheese Festival in Roswell.
