ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Michael Riordan began Sunday evening's memorial service for his wife not on a somber note, but rather a humorous and joyful one.

"Why's everybody so quiet? This is a celebration," he said to laughs in the Popejoy Hall crowd. "Jennifer was 10 minutes late to our wedding, so I'm paying her back a little bit."
