Jewish Community Center closed briefly due to bomb threat

Officials say the Jewish Community Center on Wyoming Boulevard near Spain Road was closed briefly Monday morning due to receipt of a bomb threat.
JCC officials say the center was closed around 9 a.m. and re-opened around 11 a.m. after the building was cleared by the Albuquerque Police Department Bomb Squad.
Jewish Community Centers in Saint Paul, Minn., Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, Houston, Texas, and Buffalo and Amherst, N.Y. were also evacuated Monday due to threats.
