ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Starting Wednesday, job seekers and people seeking unemployment benefits will be required to set up a new single sign-on account.

The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions says the access will be needed for those who have used the New Mexico Workforce Connection Online System and the New Mexico Unemployment Insurance Tax and Claims System.

The department is making the move in hopes of simplifying the process and making it easier for users to remember just one set of log-in information.

Users will need to click here, on or after May 15, to create a new single account to access online systems. Existing users will be able to sync their old accounts with the new one in order to save information and existing documents.

“We want to be able to maximize our online services to job seekers and claimants to give them quick, at their fingertips resources,” Secretary Bill McCamley said. “We are dedicated to being the gateway to employment for New Mexicans whether they are just starting out, looking for their next job, or changing careers.”

Technical support can be reached by calling 1-877-664-6984 or by emailing NMDWS.TechSupport@state.nm.us.
