Judge allows part of lawsuit filed against LANL to move forward

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Part of a lawsuit over cleanup efforts at Los Alamos National Lab is being allowed to proceed.

The watchdog group Nuke Watch claims LANL managers and the Energy Department committed 13 violations while meeting a 2005 cleanup agreement with the state.

U.S. Judge Judith Herrera has allowed claims for civil penalties to move forward.
