ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Police are in northwest Albuquerque Tuesday morning investigating a death.

Albuquerque Police say officers responded to a "shots fired" call in the area near Los Volcanes Road and Coors Boulevard just after 9:15 a.m.

When crews arrived on scene at the Tierra Pointe apartment complex, they found a man dead inside a vehicle.

A woman, who said she's the man's neighbor, says she saw him driving minutes earlier.

"He wrecked into the wire, and the wire kind of stopped him, so I kind of put two and two together, so I went outside to see if he was okay, and I seen him kind of hunched over and I never seen him move," said Annette Perra.

Police say this has been made a full violent crimes callout and an investigation is underway.

Police have not released any information about possible suspects or a motive.
