Albuquerque police investigate two deadly shootings within hours of each other

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating two deadly shootings that occurred within eight hours of each other.

The first shooting occurred around 11 Thursday night at 612 Prospect Ave. 

Officers found a man, who appeared to be dead, lying on the ground. The man was later identified as Anthony Patrick Moya. Rescue crews attempted to revive Moya but their efforts were unsuccessful. 

Police have not released any information about potential suspects. 

Second Shooting

On Friday morning, around 6:40, officers were dispatched to 1055 Solar Road NW. Upon arriving, officers found Arthur Harrison dead from a gunshot wound. 

Police said the shooting appeared to be the result of a domestic incident between two males. No charges have been filed.

APD Spokesman Gilbert Gallegos told KOB 4 both incidents remain under investigation.
