ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – With fans making the trip from Colorado, West Virginia and elsewhere, it was the Marshall Thundering Herd that bested the Colorado State Rams in the 2017 Gildan New Mexico Bowl, by a score of 31-28.

An earth-shattering 90-yard touchdown run – the longest in New Mexico Bowl history – by Marshall's Tyler King helped them capture the trophy.

The game was Marshall's first ever in Albuquerque.
