ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- UNM School of Law students got to see court proceeding firsthand Wednesday thanks to a stop from the Metro Court mobile bench.

This is the first time the program ever stopped at the law school. It usually visits high schools and CNM.

Law students watch as three DWI offenders were sentenced. They then heard from each defendant about the impact the DWI has had on their lives.

The judge and attorneys held a question-and-answer session after the sentencings were over. They hope to make this an annual event for UNM law students.
