ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Advanced Air, a charter airline, will offer nonstop flights from Albuquerque to Burbank.

A roundtrip ticket on the King Air turboprop aircraft will cost travelers more than $2,000. The airline is targeting executives in the film industry.

"We want to make it as easy as we can for executives from the film industry to come to New Mexico," said Nykida Allen, the Sunport's aviation director.

The flight will allow people to avoid lines at the busy Los Angeles International Airport.

Chad Gurchenof, the regional station supervisor for Advanced Air, this new mission is right up their alley.

"Part of this is just trying to find out how we do in this market, in this area. Advanced Air has often been concentrated in California," he said.
