ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— UNM will not suspend anyone involved in a pre-game scuffle with NMSU players.

The altercation happened during warmups Tuesday night.

Lobo forward Corey Manigault can be seen arguing and shoving with a group of Aggies.

After the group was separated, Manigault and NMSU’s Eli Chuha get into again.

Chuha is seen throwing a punch.

Manigault responds with several punches, one that appears to connect with Ivan Aurrecoechea

Paul Weir, UNM head basketball coach, apologized and said he didn’t see the video until a day after the game.

“The way it was framed to me, I thought it was just a competitive moment in a pregame. When I got to watch the video really late last night, I didn't see that, I saw something a little different but I really was appalled,” Weir said. “That really has prompted us, really this morning, and parts of the day here, to respond a little bit differently than what I had heard about the incident the day of the game."

Manigault practiced with the team in Los Angeles Thursday night.

The Lobos play Saint Mary’s Friday night.
