Over 13,000 New Mexicans take part in absentee voting

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Voters across New Mexico are taking advantage of absentee voting.

According to numbers from the secretary of state's office, more than 8,600 Democrats have cast their votes, joining more than 5,000 Republicans.

As of Friday, Doña Ana County had the most cast votes.

Early voting begins Oct. 20.
