Downed pole knocks out power to thousands in northeast Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - A downed pole knocked out power to more than 10,000 PNM customers in northeast Albuquerque Friday morning. According to PNM power has been restored to all but about 1,100 customers as of 10:51 a.m.

KOB Photojournalist Lex Stanfield sent in pictures of the pole lying in the road at Juan Tabo between Comanche and Montgomery.

Police helped to close down Juan Tabo between Juan Tabo Pl. and Montgomery while crews worked quickly to make repairs.  PNM estimates that power will be fully restored by noon.
