Poet laureate celebrates Jennifer Riordan with words, memories, sincerity

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – As part of a Sunday evening memorial service celebrating her life and impact on the local community, Jennifer Riordan's life was commemorated in words courtesy of Albuquerque's first poet laureate, Hakim Bellamy.

"Mike and Jennifer had that same twinkle in their eye," Bellamy recited, referring to Michael Riordan, Jennifer's husband. "It looks like kindness."
