Police arrest carjacking suspect in SE Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Albuquerque Police Department arrested a carjacking suspect Friday afternoon.

The carjacking occurred around 10 a.m. on Gibson near University.

Police said the victim was shot in the knee before the suspect stole the vehicle.

Police found the vehicle near Anderson and Monroe, and arrested the suspect a short time later.
