ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Coronado Mall in northeast Albuquerque is busy any day of the year, but especially now with holiday shoppers making Christmas purchases.

But as those shoppers were crossing items off their list, police say there was a shooting in the parking lot around 9:30 a.m., which resulted in one man receiving non-serious injuries.

However, police say the victim "was interviewed but would not cooperate with officers about the circumstances of his injury."

There is no information yet as to the gunman, but a KOB crew went to the scene Saturday morning.

Two vehicles in the lot were hit by stray bullets; the owners were told they'd have to cover the cost of damages themselves.

"It's a little disheartening with Christmas coming, now I've got to pay a deductible and get my car fixed," said Leonard Fechter, one of those car owners.
