ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Many Albuquerque Journal subscribers woke up without the morning paper on their front step. Due to a late night power failure, the publication was only able to print about 20,000 copies of the Monday's edition.

The 20,000 papers were delivered, but many subscribers will not receive a copy. To remedy the inconvenience for Journal subscribers, the Journal offered a free copy of the electronic edition of Monday's paper.

The paper’s website also experienced issues due to the power failure.

The Associated Press reported late Monday morning that the Journal's printing press resumed operations and the copies of Monday's editions would be available at grocery and convenience stores.
