Rare Blizzard Warning canceled for northeastern New Mexico

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A rare Blizzard Warning has been canceled for northeastern New Mexico.

The areas that were impacted included: Curry County, De Baca County, Eastern San Miguel County, Far Northeast Highlands, Guadalupe County, Harding County, Johnson and Bartlett Mesas (including Raton Pass), Northeast Highlands, Quay County, Roosevelt County and Union County. 


The warning was supposed to remain in effect until midnight, but it has been replaced with a Winter Weather Advisory.
