ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is a big money maker for New Mexico, but there's concern that increased infill construction on the West Side will reduce landing areas and negatively impact the event.

Albuquerque City Councilor Don Harris introduced a new resolution to address those concerns. It would create a task force that would find solutions for getting more landing space.

Monday night, the Finance and Government Operations Committee deferred action on that resolution to next month.
