Phil Chavez said his restaurant has been burglarized twice in just a few months.

In the most recent break-in, the thieves ransacked Chavez’ office and took laptops, iPads, tools, steaks and safes, which added up to more than $5000.

“Every drawer was pulled open. Everything was thrown out,” Chavez said. “I still don't know how much they took from me because every day I find something else missing.”

Chavez said the burglaries are taking a toll on his business.

“It affects everything. It affects my food cost. All the money I lost. My insurance is actually going to skyrocket now,” Chavez said. “I feel violated. It’s just like breaking into your house.”
