RIO RANCHO, N.M.- The Rio Rancho community came together Sunday night to remember a 17-year-old who was shot and killed.

Tristan Huizar was killed Saturday.

"I just can't believe that somebody would, seriously, fill his body with bullets," said Shavonda Hill, who said she was like a second mother to Tristan.

Huizar’s body was found in a white sedan that crashed.

A witness said Huizar was shot in the stomach and neck.

"He didn't do anything wrong," Hill said. "He was always just a happy, friendly, funny kid."

Police have not identified any potential suspects.

People can help the family pay for funeral expenses by donating to the GoFundMe page that was set up in Tristan's name.
