Police: Man hit by vehicle was no accident

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M - Police were called to the area near San Pedro and Montgomery in northeast Albuquerque Friday morning where they say a man was intentionally hit by a vehicle.


It happened in the parking lot to the northwest of the intersection around 2:40 a.m.  When officers arrived on scene they located the man who had suffered severe injuries from the incident.

Several witnesses on scene told police the man was hit and the driver who hit him left the scene.

Police say the driver was located and has been arrested. The man who was hit is listed in critical condition at UNM Hospital.
