ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The lockdowns at two Albuquerque schools Friday afternoon have now been lifted.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office says Ernie Pyle Middle School and Kit Carson Elementary were both put on lockdown due to police activity.

The lockdown was brief and lifted within 30 minutes of being implemented.
