BCSO investigating crash between 3 semi trucks

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - A crash involving three semi-trucks prompted the early morning full-closure of eastbound lanes of I-40 near the Route 66 Casino.

It happened around 4 a.m. Friday on I-40 near Rio Puerco.

State Police say all lanes of eastbound I-40 were reopened just after 8:30 a.m. One of the drivers was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office is handling the crash investigation.
