30-year-old Shayla Angeline Boniello was arrested in Rockdale, Texas last week.

Court documents state Boniello admitted to punching, slapping, shaking and finally squeezing the baby until she was motionless.

Police say Boniello re-enacted the crime with a toy stuffed animal showing a “large amount of force.” According to an affidavit from police, it is believed that was the direct cause and main factor in the baby’s death.

Boniello has been charged with child endangerment and capital murder.
