Sheriff Gonzales says he is ‘shocked’ with election results

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Bernalillo County Sheriff Manny Gonzales is not projected to win the Albuquerque mayoral race.

Gonzales said he is surprised and saddened by the results and thought he could improve the city’s crime rate.
