ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- A smoke ring in Albuquerque generated a lot of interest Tuesday.

According to an official at Sandia National Laboratories, the ring was produced by a controlled crude oil fire experiment.

The test was in support of their national security mission. 

A similar test, conducted about a month ago, produced a similar smoke ring.
