ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Much of the melted snow that was left behind in northeast Albuquerque froze overnight.

The city of Albuquerque said they’re going to be focusing their efforts on treating bridges and intersections and will have crews working 12-hour shifts until the storm is over.

City officials are also reminding people that they are not plowing residential areas.

KOB 4 spoke with a few people who were out along the trails in the Northeast Heights Tuesday. Most people said they were excited to see a dose of winter outside their window.

More snow is expected to fall in the metro area Wednesday.
