ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- A New Mexico winery has a new name.

St. Clair Winery & Bistro is now known as D.H. Lescombes Winery & Bistro, a tribute to the founders of St. Clair. But despite the new name and sign, not much else is changing.

Wayne Moore, Director of Bistro Operations, says the logo on wine bottles in retail stores will stay the same, but new logos will be rolled out at the restaurant.

“The D and the H is actually Danielle and Herve Lescombes,” Moore said.

The French family immigrated to New Mexico and turned a small business into a New Mexico icon that's now looking to expand.

Moore says they have a wine club in the works with a plan to ship wine to club members. There are also plans to open a new bistro in Alamogordo.
