State Police searching for missing juvenile runaway out of Shiprock

SHIPROCK, N.M. – State Police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing preteen runaway last seen in Shiprock around 7:30 a.m. Sunday.

Racealene Pete, 12, is Native American, stands 5 foot 3, weighs about 109 pounds and has brown eyes with black hair. NMSP says she was last seen wearing a black Adidas jacket with light blue jeans and maroon Vans.

Officers also advised Pete might be in the area of Page, New Mexico – located just southeast of Gallup. She could be in a beige Chevy Tahoe with Arizona plates BMV-9415.

Anyone with information as to Pete's whereabouts is asked to contact NMSP at (505)368-1350.
