Suspect in North Carolina murder arrested in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A man wanted for his role in a North Carolina homicide was found hiding in New Mexico this week.

Police say 33-year-old Jamaal Griffin was arrested Wednesday in Albuquerque. Griffin faces multiple charges, including murder and attempted armed robbery.

32-year-old Churchill Zoker was found shot to death at a Charlotte, North Carolina motel on June 30.

Two others have been arrested for the homicide.
