Daniel Gonzalez is accused of shoplifting from the Walmart location on Carlisle Boulevard. When police found him, they say he tried running away.

Officers eventually caught up with him, but they say he then got combative and bit an officer's finger.

Gonzalez is charged with aggravated battery upon a peace officer.
