ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- A popular bakery was burglarized early Friday morning.

Golden Crown Panaderia's owner told KOB, "(The thief) had a slingshot, broke through this window, climbed through and jumped over our front counter."

Morales posted surveillance video of bakery break-in onto social media.

Additionally, he said police responded quickly, collected evidence including a video which shows the suspect with tattoos on his neck and hand.

Morales said the thief didn’t take much but caused about $1,000 worth of damage.

On top of a broken window, Morales said the thief shattered glass and ruined 100 dozen biscochitos.

The video also shows the thief taking off with a dessert.

Morales laughed and said, "Right?! On his way out, he's like, 'I'll take this pastry.'”

However, on a serious note, Morales said the business is his second home and stressed he’s always willing to help the community.

He said he hopes the thief is caught and gets the help he needs so he doesn’t feel the need to steal.
