Parking full at Santa Ana Star Center for Trump rally

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - In just a few hours, President Trump will be in New Mexico making his way to a campaign rally at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho.

In the metro, drivers will be impacted by traffic whether they go to the rally or not. For drivers that are attending — arrive early. A line has already formed in the parking lot, which opened at 6 a.m.

Doors opened at 4 p.m. Parking at the venue was full as of Monday afternoon. Vehicles face the possibility of being towed if drivers park in nearby areas.

Air Force One will land at the Sunport at 6 p.m. I-25 will be closed as the motorcade makes its way to Rio Rancho. The rally begins at 7 p.m.

Rio Rancho has shut down all their city offices, public schools, police headquarters and municipal courthouse. The city of Albuquerque closed its offices at 3 p.m. Monday afternoon.

Tickets to the rally are available on a first-come, first-serve basis on the campaign's website.
