Unemployment rate falls for 6th straight month

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M – New Mexico's unemployment rate continues to go down.

State labor officials say the unemployment rate was 5.1 percent in May – the sixth straight month the state has shown improvement.

It's down from 5.4 percent in April and 6.2 percent this time last year.
